The inspiration for House of Arrayan comes from the enchanting Alhambra in Granada, southern Spain. This palace, with its lush gardens, is a masterpiece of Moorish architecture.
The most iconic plant of the Alhambra is the Arrayan – in Spain, the name for a fragrant shrub we know in the English language as jasmine. In the Arab world, this aromatic plant is called Al-Rayan. For centuries, it has been used to adorn hedges and ornamental gardens.
House of Arrayan is the result of a fusion of three passions:
- Hosting guests
- Design, and
- Natural greenery.
It began with a single Airbnb in Amsterdam and evolved into an ambitious vision — a collection of unique and characterful holiday homes across Southern Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.
